This is a Game-Demo I made in 2008.
I haven't found the time to work more on it, so I thougt I show it here to get a little feedbak if it's worth to continue:

Please let me know what you think. :)
I'll go ahead and say it right now. The fact that no one has replied to this is a SHAME. This demo is very very good. It captures the spirit of the Stooges perfectly, from the animations to the expressions to the dialogue to the backgrounds.
It would be a shame not to finish this. However, you don't need to borrow graphics from Zak McKraken, though I can't even tell what you borrowed because it's so seamlessly put together. I only know because you said so in the credits. Anyway, why not hire a background artist that would work in Deluxe Paint? B&W backgrounds are some of the easiest things to draw, ever.
Seriously, man. Finish this. I've always wanted to do something like this with the Marx Brothers but never knew if it would work. You've inspired me.
Nice use of the Three Stooges sprite from the original game, how did you go about capturing it
Thanks for the nice answers. :)
It took me ages to get the sprites. I ripped them from screenshots I made with an amiga-emulator and cut them out frame by frame. I had to fix the sprites of Larry & Curly, cause in the game Moe walks always in front of them. ::) 8)
A Marx Brothers game would also be very cool! :D
Could be called "Super Marx Bros." ;D
Wow thats a fun gameplay demo, as a Stooge fan I hope you keep working on it. Lots of good base/source material here...pie (or clay) fights, golfing (my favorite Stooges short), Curly shaving ice, the Stooges being adopted by a rich family as "refugees", pest exterminators, etc...and of course all varieties of head klunking and slaps.
