Hello, peasant! Since this critics loung covers other than just adventure games, then I hope you don't mind critsicing my lates animation, the knight who screamed/laughed/roared, haven't decided.
Anyway, here goes. the gif program seems to leave 2 stray pixels after the mouth narrows and it messes up the colours in his face.

haha...looks like something out of doodie.com. His lips seem to completely disappear once his mouth opens for the final scream. Mayhaps you could leave a bit of it showing?
It looks like homer.. lol.. Babar is rigt, he needs lips.... And his mouth should gradually open before his head just opens up
Also, his whole head should shake up and down a bit.. Otherwise it just looks like he's screaming..
Good work
WHITE NINJA!!!
(except not white...)
Add arms..that flail around madly..that'll make it look more like a scream.
If you want it to be a laugh then his mouth should open and close a little, it will make it more like a 'hahaha' and less like a huge 'ha'.
I've decided to call it a screaming knight, since I couldn't get it to work properly, it's a frame by frame on one layer. I added a nervous smile at the end, tell me if It looks good or not, also I made a laughing knight too.

feel free to try making the tounge move more realistic :-[
EDIT: Also, I wont put in any arms, because I can't draw 'em, not even for $1000,000,000. that's why I only made a head in the first place :|
hahahah.... real funny. The style looks very familiar. The laughing guy looks like he is crying though... maybe tilting his head back a bit will make it more "laughlike"
Two little points:
1. It looks like he's wearing an Executioners hood, rather than a Knights helmet.
2. The laughing one looks kinda like he's making "Lalalala I can't hear you" noises. All he needs are his hands clamped over his ears. Which would be difficult, if you don't want to draw arms. Like Babar said, maybe a slight tilt to the head would help.
They're great as they are though, especially the little smile after the scream.
