The many faces of Ryruu (DPainted Concept Sprites)

Without further ado....


It may look a mite distorted, for dpaint has no square aspect for 320x200. Let me explain my sprites:
Salute - Ryruu salutes. No event connected, just a test to see what I can do with the arms.
Yay high - Ryruu indicates the height of someone he's looking for.
Tied up - no need to explain, but he's struggling.
Investigating - second frame for the bend down and pick up animation.
Guard: Dressed up as an Eden guard. He doesn't fit into the chestplate (the uniform doesn't leave much leaway for husky 4'9" esquans.) and he's holding the Y47 standard military issue stungun.

but i'm kind of worried that he might be a nazi squirrel that's into s&m (come on, the signs are all there, the salutes, the ropes..   )
just kidding!!  
no man, really it's very good but I notice he always has the same worried expression, maybe a more neutral face would be better while he's not doing anything (I realize that is those frames he's always doing something).

Neutral expression, eh? Don't think I can do that. I use highly animé / japanese style facial expressions, not standard aadventure game style. From top left: Thinking, not impressed, scared, embarressed, annoyed, faceless, flaming ambition, zipped lip, war paint!, exaggerated crying, hunger.

He's not a nazi squirrel. He's an eleven year old male amazonian esquan, 4'9", 140lbs. S&m doesn't even come into his vocabulary!

Besides, he doesn't play adventure games.... how DO ropes and salutes connect to Sam and Max?

really good dragon, you can really see the manga/anime style in your pics. Are you gunna add some of the more 'adult' anime in your game aswell lol
