Background from 'Conspiracy of Songo'

This is another room from my upcoming game, 'Conspiracy of Songo' (coming this September).

Nice, it has very warm colours and brings fuzzy feelings to my heart.

Now to bludgen it to a bloody pulp:
- The view needs more. I'm thinking clouds or additional buildings.
- The shelf for the plant is off-perspective. Not necessarily bad.
- The stack of stuff behind the right chair is composed of undefinable crap.
- The chairs look too 'line-tooly'.
- The pen could use more detail. It could also be a cigar if it weren't for the notebook.

And not to leave you crying, I'll end on a more positive note:

I think it looks fine.
maybe the plant can go on the floor.
the top of the chairs do look a little line-tool originated.

i really like it, it looks like it's made up of paper cutouts

i would also like to see maybe one more building on the right side of the window and get rid of the black outlines on the shelf and plant. nothing else has black outlines and they all look good.

the blue colour for the chairs is reallllly deep and dark while the highlight is barely noticeable to me. i'd suggest maybe trying either a lighter blue or just use a lighter highlight colour.

i like the desk and it's minimal texturing, what would it look like with a LITTTTLE more texture on it?

MrColossal: I'm not sure what you meant by "the highlight is barely noticable" - did you talk about the shading?

yes, there's the dark blue and then the light blue in the chair

they are very close to each other and hard to see
