Title: Time for some Rocko fan art
Post by: Krazy on Wed 24/11/2004 10:25:24
Rocko's Modern Life is one of my favourite cartoons, really funny show! So I drew some fan art:

So what do you all think? This is the first time I've tried drawing him  :P

Rocko, and Ahhh! Real Monsters were my favorite cartoons from Nick. You did a nice job with this. Did you use any reference material while drawing it? If not, I would suggest that the next time. But you really captured Rocko. I would probably have the brain and stem coming more from his skull cavity and follow a curved line for the whole drawing.

Something like this:

I would probably have his feet off the ground, and maybe have his eyes jump from his sockets. But I'm sorry, you really did do a nice job with Rocko, and me being a huge fan of it, I am happy with what you did.

From what book is that scan, if I may ask?

Why, it's Walter Foster's Animating: The Looney Tunes Way with Tony Cervone. Director of Warner Bros. Animation

A quite excellent read. I purchased it at my local Michael's craft store.
