I think there is something wrong with your monitor corey.

As for the pic, its really hard to tell what anything is. Getting the perspective right would be a good start i guess.

Edited the path and played with the sky and contrast. I loves sky <3

The perspective is supposed to be messed-up. I'm aiming for a cartoony style and I thought that it's best this way.

Maybe tone down the dithering a bit... It looks reall good on the grass, but not so great on flat surfaces like the buildings.

Good job Haddas, It certainly looks better. I'll try to level down the dihtering and put a little more detail in the pic.

the lights should be paler.  they look too much like fire right now.

Here the 'improved' version:

Fixed: Toned down the dihtering
Fixed: Copy-Pasted Haddas' pathÃ,  ;)
Fixed: The outline is a little more paler
Fixed: Lighting

So, what do you think of it now? Any critics would be appreciated...

Umm, It is supposed to be night, right? Well I have noticed that night is often more blue. And this picture IS dark. Now a photo might record night as dark,  but when our eyes adjust we often see it in a differant way. as well the moon creates pale blue highlights.  here is a good example
http://www.worldofmi.com/imageviewer.php?id=24

Note the highlights on the log, the blueness of things though nothing in the pic in daylight would be blue (http://www.worldofmi.com/imageviewer.php?id=24)
As well, you say that the perspective is crazy to add a cartooney look? It doesn't, it looks more smeared then skewed. Look at more cartoons, even the wackiest don't so much forgoe perspective as exaggerate it, twisting and turning the basic shapes to create new results. for example often a hill would appear to be far away, but a charactor could get there in a few steps. a mountain would be impossibly steep and tall. a house would not be square. as Picasso knew, before you can change you need an understanding of the basics.
a childs scribble isn't cartoony, looney toons is.

Thanks for that, ummm, powerfull critic. Okay, for real, yu'r totally right, It doesn't add a cartoony style and I really should use some perspective. I think I'll start diong a MAYOR makeover(not kidding  :-\)...

NOTE: I'll use a Monkey Island syle from now on(I now it's hard to recreate MI bgs but I like challanges!)

Thanx again!  :D

SBsLoVeNiA, you don't have to recreate, just follow the same rules. another good exampole is the night scenes in pleurghburg.
