I'm really digging it. There is nothitg "childlike" about those drawings, but they're certainly prettier. However the background is a bit melancholic. maybe if it wasn't so dark, or another colour perhaps.

Christ, some people just don't respect art for what it is do they. It's that single minded attitude to things that gets the younger forum members frowned upon here, and i can see why too.

Looks like a cloud-dispenser to me. The blue version is better in the way that you lightened the area around the TV/dispenser/thing, but the other background color suits better (now you can actually distinguish his nose). You could try to make the ground line arched to bring the machine more into center like in the blue version.
