Title: Trying to model my 2d room in 3D (c&c)
Post by: Minimi on Sat 26/06/2004 23:50:07
I've decided to add cutscenes to the game "The Void", and I'm trying to model my whole room in Wings3D, and I wondered what you think of the stairs right now? It's in wireframe showed, and I just done the stairs and walls untill now.

here is the picture of the room of the ingame graphics

also.. I need to know if you think it would be an addition if there were these flythrough cutscenes when you enter a new area? I mean, would you like to view that, or rather skip it?

looks nice, but try making a better render so we can sort of imagine how the animation would look like

But for what i can see, the structure looks quite good, can't wait to see it textured

Not bad, though it's 3 minutes work, yet. texture it.

After a little experience it comes for you in 3 or so minutes too. I don't know much about Winds3D, but it should be pretty easy in 3ds max: few boxes here and there, line with lathe modifer and little cloning...
Well, texture and lights will give final touch. Looking forward to see it.
