Rincewind

Yeah, I agree. The first one looks better.

PeaceMan

The first one looks great!

I love that brick wall - you should definitely go with that!

I think the perspective issue on the wall on the right could be resolved with special tools. Like the perspective tool in Photoshop (Edit -> Transform -> Perspective). But then again, I'm not sure if the change is very big.

The tool would make this:

I can't think of a better way without any new shapes. Which would mean for example a concrete base for the building or some windows or something. But I'm not sure if that would serve the correct purpose.

just make the corner futher to the left so that it makes ita steeper slant away from you, like this...

is that what you meant?

Oh, yeah, that's it! Didn't even notice the edge was off perspective! ;D

Shoud'nt the pole with the bus-stop sign stand on the sidewalk instead of on the street?

Synthetique

i dont know.. but if so, i'll fix it..

The perspective on the sidewalk is still old I guess. It's the same as the older right wall. Be sure to change that as well.

Another way of correcting the perspective and keeping the lane wide enough to walk in for some puzzles would be to mvoe the far edge of the wall to the right, the same way as Slam moved the near edge to the left.

Synthetique

hey thank you all! :D

neole: that did it! im goin for that idea.. thank you.. ;D

Both look great, but I would go for the first one.
Other than that, there are some details that could stand some tweaking:

1. Put the bus stop on the sidewalk before a horrendous traffic accident happens.

2. I suggest adding some more detail to the brick wall. Make the stones form a pattern around the window. Look at a brick builing and see how a windowframe is buiolt into a wall. The bricks themselves are never "cut" like that, but rather a frame is built using the bricks. Also, a concrete foundation or some paintwork on the bottom of the wall would look good. And how aboput a drainpipe at the corner?

3. The perspective is pretty weird. It seems you've used two points of perspective in the same image, which is why it looks odd. Only use one. It looks more correct on Slam's version, however the sidewalk needs fixing on this pic as well.

Keep it up, the pic as a whole looks great.
