Title: Walk cycle skeleton

I have produced this walkcycle skeleton which I hope to use to base characters on that need a walk cycle.

I think you have a good start, but it seems to me like he is kinda stepping in front of himself, I'm not sure, but maybe you could center the leg motion more under the torso.

Cut down the frames, you're on 60 when you probably only need.. 6? You might be able to take the keyframes from this though.

big brother had some examples of animations with different number of frames, none of them went nearly as high as 60 and all looked good

If you try to walk the way you just showed, you'd have a nasty heel injury. You step on the ground with the whole foot, not just with the heel.
Also, it looks like he isn't look relaxed at all eg. the elbow is still bended when he starts walking with the other foot. Ã, Don't get me wrong, your walkcycle is very good, it's just that there's still room for improvements.
Another thing is his knee doesn't seem to bend when the other foot start the circle. Sure, it's seen later on but it doesn't look natural.
IMO you could also do something with the palms to give it a more casual and relaxing look.

But overall it looks very good. If you take my suggestions I think it would look even better.

EDIT: Tuomas beat me to it, I wanted to show that too. ^^

Maybe I've misunderstood this observation but I step on the ground with my heel first - then my toes. Other people I know walk this way too.

I think the feet are mostly fine. Apart from the balance problem, the knees lift a bit too high, it looks a little like he's marching.

The problem isn't that it steps with the heel, more the timing - the animation currently rocks slowly onto the base of the foot.

here is a pic of a book called "the animators survival kit" and IMO it's the best book on animations and it shows how to do things right.

Here is a 6 frame wireframe model to give you some ideas.  I shaded it afterward so it looked a bit better.  I made the shoulders and pelvis separate to show how they move back and forth with the limbs.  Hopefully you will find this useful.
