Wolverine; please note that the critics' lounge is only for getting feedback on published material, not general discussions on art. This means that when you start a thread, there has to be some sort of material - artworks, music, stories, etc - to discuss.

With respect, Andail, where would you suggest moving it to? I looked through the primary topics of the board and didn't see anywhere that this topic "appeared" to fit, besides here.

This type of post (I feel) doesn't really belong in any board.  There are plenty of tutorials and other threads where similar topics have been raised (use the search feature to find them!).

The better option would be to make a background/sprite (whatever) and post it in here asking for critique.  That is the best way to learn.
