If the light really comes from the yellow part, then the weird X-shaped structures that support that "window" should be much darker (since they block the light) and the side walls should be much brighter.
Overall I'd recommend thinking carefully to the location of the light source, and then increase the contrast a lot everywhere it's needed.

FYI, for some reason in Chrome, the first page of this thread brings up a "blocked because of malware" warning.
