A sprite of the bad guy!

Can you help me to choose one of this guys?





As you can see... they´re basically the same, just the face changes...  One seems to be a young nazi SS offciel, brave, without scrupuls...

The other seems more sophisticated with the monocle, maybe he´s a prussian gentlemen...

Which do you think could be the best for being the nemesis of the known character of Arizona Scott?

I think the second one fits in better. The monocle does not really fit the SS I think. Both look really great by the way, why do you never make the graphics for my games?

I say go with the first one because it's better to have characters with personality. Also, I think the face of the second looks too much like that of your hero. If you want to make a clean shaven variation, I'd say go for a face a la Don Knotts.

Both are great, but I'd deffinatley say the second one is a better looking arch-enemy.

Definatelly the first one - he looks like a prat and would loose his temper irratically when his plans are foiled.

The aging officer provides a nice tonal contrast to the young Arizona Scott. It has real appeal in the youth vs. authority figure sense.

I'd say, because of the above, number one is a more interesting choice.

he looks like your main character with a german uniform on in the second one

2nd, but if you really like the first I recommend adding facial hair, he looks kinda like himmler

what you could change in my opinion is his skin color... perhaps a little more pale.. that would give him a more evil look.

I kinda think the monocole is a little over the top.. but the more i see it, the least it seems. but if this game had to ship tomorrow, id say go with the second one, so i guess thats my answer.

Kind of reminds me of Colonel Klink from Hogan's Heros with that.

I like the first sprite, but I fear that monacle has a comedic quality to it.  Can we see that same face without the monacle obscuring it?

I vote for 1.5. Number 2, except with a monocle. But the monocle for number 1 looks like a bulging eye.

The monocle looks absurd rather than genuinely threatening. But if that fits with the theme of the game, all is good.

I´ve finally choosen the monocle guy, with a more pale skin and a different moustache and white hair... As some people said, the "young" version looked too similar to the original Arizona Scott... To see the final result take a look here:
