First page of my comics(Warning..BAD STUFF?)

Well, i have to admit that this comic was inspired by Squinky to help get me off my ass..i have the rest mentally planned out, and i am about to begin the second page(Sketches that is)...Sadly, i don't have an INKER like Squinky so it takes a little longer.
Tell me what you think.

Biggest problem I have with this comic is in the last panel his hand is on backwards...

otherwise I like the face on the big ogre, he's cute

Now that I have more time

his hand may not be on backwards, he's probably holding his one hand with his other but it looks like it's on backwards

also,

There's a HUGE blast of light coming from his hand and none of it is showing up on the ogre, in fact it works the opposite, there's a light source to his back casting a very subtle shadow

Seems like comics are getting popular here. Gotta send my own comics sometimes too. This one is cool, I like the style. I too noticed the same problem as MrColossal right away. You should fix that. Anyway, looking forward to see more of this.

I really like the design of the main character.  But look at his sleeves.  The color of his sleeve at the shoulder is always the same, but the color of the sleeve at the hand changes.

And yeah, I'm just not feeling the power of that lightning bolt.  There should be more light coming off of it.  Maybe the main character's hair is blowing back from the force...  The character's stance is so powerful, but the ogre just standing there looking confused as his arm gets torn off at the shoulder just doesn't lend the sense of power that I feel the bolt should have.

Yep, with Mr. C's edit came the truth...the hand is not on backwards, but held with his right hand. Ã, My Bro noticed the same thing right as i placed it on the board and brought my attention to it. Ã, So, i figure i should change this. Ã, maybe extend the hand a little outward, or show more thumb with his right hand to accentuate whats going on.
I agree with Mr.C on the lighting as well...there SHOULD be lighting on the Ogre/(Troll) from the blast...i must have gotten lazy during the color process. Ã, Thanks much for pointing that out. Ã, I am not usually into the color comic thing...and prefer black and white...humour comics.

as an off topic statement, i just went to Mr. C's site for the first time today...(I think?)
cool stuff...has kind of a Tim Burton/Vasquez feel...mostly Burton though. Ã, 
And yeah, i know, i don't usually like to be compared either, but in my world that's a compliment...lets hope you do too(wincing)

And to Vince...the character(and his stripes)and not bound by the laws of static mundanity.Ã,  (I shall put a disclaimer eventually-notice this is also shown with his arms extended to unatural lengths, etc.)...oh, and the blast is so powerful it is slicing through the arm without resistance...cool eh?Ã,

Anyways, I think it roxors and it makes me and my piddly lil attempt at a webcomic look like cheap sloppy hookers....Thanks for making me feel like less a man with your skills....Heh....

Oh, and the tiled pictures in the background are creepy....
