Just spent the last little while trying to draw some sexy women and gosh it is hard.. TO DRAW. Basically everything and anything I pixel is square, blocky and masculine, and women are the complete opposite of all of these. So I am looking for some useful comments and help in pixeling the female body. Here is what I have so far:

I'm not very happy with the legs, hands, feet, head, boobs, shoulders...
I am not a pervert, I just want to learn these skills because of the game I have in mind I need to have a sexy female character. Maybe I should stick to pixeling naked grannies. ;D
It looks good for a start.
I'm not an expert on anatomy (so some of this may be wrong), but I made an edit to address some issues:

1. Loosened shoulders.
2. Altered shape of breasts, but kept same position.
3. Raised crotch a bit (maybe too far).
4. Resized head.
(I left the arms and legs alone for now.)
I think you got most of it down in your initial version (the hips in particular). All I can recommend is to follow some anatomy tutorials or look at others' work. Good job!
JBurger's is a good start, just widen the hips of his version to match the hips-to-shoulder ratio for women and it should be fine (it will also make her calves seem less huge by comparison).
An update:

Currently armless, but I'm happier with the shape. Although she is too large to be used I have learned a lot so far. Thank you JBurger for the paint over, and Progz for the suggestions and help on stickam. Keep the suggestions coming I've still got the feet and arms to sort out.
You've got low res nude girl, and nobody said me about it?! ;)

Burger; make her much thinner around the shoulders and calves/feet. Way too broad as it is now.
A typical feature of the female anatomy is that the shoulders don't exceed the width of the hips.
Make her boobs bigger.

I don't think so. IMHO they are big enough. ;)

Try some kind of anti-aliasing to make them rounder. Look what I did on her boobs.
Did you use the Kafka's charakter as base for your picture? He also has the tutorial for female sprite. Try it!

Everybody says that. ;)
Well I'll be damned more posts! ;D
Well thank you yarooze, I really like you edit. I really need to learn how to AA, know of any other useful tutorials? I adore Kafka's tutorials, but this sprite was made from scratch. However I did kind of steal thier style with the eyes.
At the moment the sprite is still work in process and might stay that way.. who knows?! Although thank you for all your comments and suggestions.
The game idea that I have is still an idea so I am going for a different approach to making a game and trying to work out the whole plot and puzzles then start work on the graphics. So you guys might not see anything from me sprite wise for a bit :(
Ahaha, just got to mention about the "warning woman parts" in the topic.
The moral decay presented in this thread makes me wonder, are the "woman parts" poisonous or something :P
Just kidding, carry on. I'll get my coat.
The girl looks good. Just remember... Body first then boobs and when it comes to size it's all a matter of relavance.

...not to be fussy, cause it's not that big of a deal, but I can't see Indie's pictures.
Probably because this thread was started almost 2 years ago, and was last active January 2009 until brought back from the dead.
Woot! Got to love some of my old threads getting bumpt.
