Thought this would fit here best:
are the forums slower than usual for anyone else? I'm pretty sure it's not my connection since it says how long it took to create the page at the very bottom and I'm getting times up to 10 seconds or more.

Is something wrong with the server or is it just used to capacity?

For me it's not only slow
... it always stucks and gives me „FastCGI Error“ about a server problem every now and then  :'(
and if the site comes up, it needs „hours“.

Heh, right, I completely missed the connection since it only got slow for me a few days ago. I thought the downtime was due to a database crash or something.

Anyway, the Bake Sale is a superb idea and I'll gladly fork out some cash for the site I visit the most

Miguel and Khris: We started the bake sale to buy CJ a new server,  but he swears he doesn't need one. So now we're going to raise money for Child's Play instead.
