Title: 3D Adventure Games
Post by: ZZjZmoz on Thu 22/05/2003 21:42:45
Ahhh... I an't take it any more.
I MUST make something in 3D.
I need help.
Wht do I need to make a 2D game with 3D graphics, like that detective... game... thing... yea?
How do I do it... and import it?

Thanks in advance.

One more thing...
I want to be able to make cars and people with specific destinations (like in that junc game... thing. ok, I stink at naming games correctly.) and do something when they get there, and then switch directions.

Thanks in advance again.

truespace 3.2 is also freeware ;)

Though I use CorelBryce5, which is $99. I'm only using it for cutscenes though, to rebuild my pixel art in 3D ;)

If you need a TRUE 3d game platform, ags will not be for you, even though i'm sure a very 1337 programmer could make a grim fandango style 3d plugin for ags

Or you could use the blender game engine and do a lot of programming (though most of the scripts are readily available).

You sound as if you probably don't know anything about 3d at all. It isn't easy to get good results, this isn't something you're going to learn in a week.

Oh damn. May 2003.

I think this happens when people bookmark the forum and not the links page.
