opening games

Hi im new but i have a question, i can download games, which i save to my desktop but when i go to open them they have an aol symbol and it says aol will try to open this file, but it cant because it is too big, this has even happened on small game of 5 mb, can anyone help me thank you

Sounds like somehow you have managed to choose AOL to open ZIP/RAR files.
You should download Winrar (http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar38b5.exe) and install it, then try to open the files you have downloaded.
