hey,

im looking into making a scene, not neserily a adventuregame scene but a really nice looking 3D lanscape, fantasy style. I need to know where to start, any tutorials? what freeware program should i use?

Do you mean a scene in an AGS game?

If yes I'd like to know this too, as I'm thinking of adding this zany endsequence for Nanotech.

Also consider:
Softimage XSI EXP
Maya PLE
GMax
These 3 a pretty limited so they probably won't be useful. I think a version of Cinema 4D is free also.

yeh im using it to make a mockup halo2 screen, gotta get some textures first.
