Keyboard key "switcher"?

Is there such a program that lets you change your keyboard keys? Basically my laptop has this "Fn" key in the bottom left where Ctrl should be and I keep on pressing it by mistake. The Ctrl key has been nudged one position to the right and I sometimes hit the windows key when I attempt to press it. I need to make Fn = Ctrl.

Damn these laptop screens are bright, my eyes are dying just typing this!

I also have have a laptop and also had a problem because I used this  program that needed a key I didn't have on my comp. (or so I thought) I didn't know what a Fn key was or why I had it. But then I found out I had to press the key with another key to get the blue character on that button. I guess mistaking it for shift can be annoying. I've never had that problem, but sometimes (all the time) when I try and hit the \ key, I hit Enter instead. :S But I've gotten over it, and now I have problems when I used normal keyboard! Anyway, there are programs out there for this problem, normally used by disabled people who have problems with typing. However, I suggest you don't mess with it and I can't belive it would become such a problem that you would monkey around with your key configuration.

And another note, you commented how bright your screen was? You DO relize that if you hold the Fn key down and hit down arrow a few times it dims the screen, right?

On my laptop the brightness thingies are F7 & F8, i only noticed about 5 mins ago . My \ key is to the left of the spacebar which is  pretty weird. I use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V a LOT though, and it becomes annoying, but i don't think i'll mess with any programs since i can't exactly buy a new keyboard and stick it in my laptop...

Well, you probobly could and have it plug into a port of the back of your comp.....I can on mine anyway, but there is no reason I would want to.
