Silent Hill 2: what I don't understand...

I tried to play Silent Hill 3 on the PC. The graphics were blocky, but strangely enough they gave a great atmosphere that way. However I couldn't understand what the heck I was doing, where I was, etc. One moment I was trying to figure out what I'm doing around blood-stained corpses of people in bunny suits, I fall in a gap, and I wake up in a toilet? I somehow got outside and saw some weird monsters around. That's all the memories I have from the game ???

So no, I didn't like it.

It's not quite that random. Were you playing the game in English?
You. Me. Denny's.

Paper Carnival

Yes, but I didn't get into it at all. I played it for a few minutes in an internet cafe. Would it be worth it if I started playing it seriously?

LGM

Yes... But it'd help if you played the first one. The first and third have connected stories. The second is more of an interculary, as is the fourth. They take place in Silent Hill but are completely different to the "main" storyline.. But that's the thing, there could be 1000 people in Silent Hill, each with their own stories, and no-one would see eachother.

Heheh,

Guys, thanks for all the (unexpected) replies!  ;)  I had no idea my silly little rant would bring so many people together, but you already made me feel a lot better about this stupid game. I decided to uninstall it for a final time and get rid of it. I guess it's not a good sign (for the game, that is) when I rather start working on my office-related stuff than playing the game.

I really appreciate it! :)
