I know I'm being a bit picky, but it's been annoying me that on the key at the bottom of the pages it has
Normal Topic

When it should be:
Normal Topic

I just got finished watching the show Monk on TV, maybe I'm a being a bit obsessive compulsive...  :P

(oh wait - is Monk a USA-only show?)

I'm not picky, but I do think the cup would be better for normal topic  :o
For now, this is were I get off...

Monk is also in Australia.

Well, not really, as the steaming cup symbol only appears when a topic is 'hot' whereas the folder icon doesn't appear at all (I think). I mean, there would be no use for this cup symbol, as the current one isn't used at all, y'see?

Oh, actually, yeah, I see it is used at the top right of the topic (under pages: 1 & beside Author) - I hadn't noticed that.

My mistake. I DO apologise, etc etc

We already invented the evil (and controversial) Green cup if you look back a few pages in the MSPaint game. so is the Red one good or bad?

It's there because by default, the forum software displays that "normal topic" icon next to topics which aren't sticky or locked.

However, I removed it because it made it hard to distinguish sticky topics from the rest, so it's now kind of a leftover.

Way off-topic, but:

OPEN DOOR.

"No, there's dirt all over it!"

USE WIPE ON DOOR.

OPEN DOOR.

"I have to do something with this wipe!"

USE WIPE ON GROUND.

"I can't put it on the ground, I have to throw it away!"

USE WIPE WITH POCKET.

"It's all dirty!"

USE WIPE WITH GARBAGE CAN.

"There's no garabage bag inside. I can't just stick it in the can without a bag!"

USE GUN WITH MONK.

We used to get Monk on Saturday afternoons in the UK too. I love that guy.

Did you see the one where he counted the jelly beans in the jar, and got it exactly right?
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!

Mephistophilis

The on with apparently Crooked cop who apparently beats up and stabs some kid on a ferris wheel? and He counts the boxes of beans in the Bin.

I've never really watched the show, but I hate it. It's like Picket Fences (which I didn't mind but... I'm making a point) crossed with Gilmore Girls... with some cop stuff thrown in. It's just -too- wacky, and his girly partner who's this fiery-red, wacky, boyish, girlish, side-kick, mother-type. The whole thing is just too set up to constantly be a reminder of his "problem". I'm reminded of Night Boat...

"Oh no, they're on land. We'll never catch them now."

"Incorrect. Look - a canal".

Plus, I just hate women like that partner chick. So sassy. Oh, the sassiness! Sassiness coming out of her wacky, large mouthed face.

*ahem*

Speaking of Monk, has anyone noticed the trend of actors from Men in Black to get their own cop show?

Best line ever!

Mr Flibble

I think it was actually
"Oh no, they've gone inland! We'll never catch them now!"

"Look! A narrow inlet!"

"*sigh* Theres always an inlet."
"Or an estuary."
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!
