It is a conspiricy I tell you!

3 days ago I go to come to the forum.... and the big Websense banner pops up and says the cataglory
"Games" is not allowed...

Sure they could have filtered out the download page... but to kill the forums off from me as well!!! The horror (In case you wonder why I am here now, once a week we work the internet cafe which doesn't have it blocked)...

the army is trying to suck the life out of me! But anyway....

I'm not around for that reason... and I had so many wonderful things to show you (like the unveiling of my new logo) but that will wait for next time...

MrColossal

do you have a service for requesting your over seas ballot?

Apparently soldiers are being blocked from being able to request the ballot in, what some believe, is a measure to suppress the vote. Check it out and then raise hell if so.

Privateer Puddin'

my college also has websense, get past it with babelfish translation.. ;)

Ah, that doesn't apply to me... as I am a non-voter...

The way I look at it... either way I'm screwed... I love hearing people say Republicans love to go to war, Democrats don't raise the military pay much (and in my experience its true), but I've been deployed to a war zone with both a republican, and a democrat in office (Clinton and Dubya)... I've seen a high (9%) payraise with a democrat and a 7% with a republican.... so it really doesn't matter.... in less than 90 days... I'll be home....

So yeah... I don't vote... because in the end... I'm screwed...

MrColossal

and the only reason to vote is for your own needs and wants?

but you're in the Army, man!

Ok lets not let this turn into a whole... its your duty as a.... blah blah... patriotism.... for the future.... blah blah you must vote thread...

This is about the evils of websense

I doubt you'll be able to read this because of Websense, but Maddox recently did an article about it: http://maddox.xmission.com/c.cgi?u=websense

Why in hell would the Army need to be protected by Websense? From games?!

Isn't the internet there so that you can relax a bit, e-mail friends and family, etc?

Write your congressman, before websense blocks e-mail and everything else that isn't the websense website. Also, if you use any proxy you should be able to get past it. An anonymizer, for example.
Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.
