Hi. I know there are some of you here who use blogger more or less, people who have blogs there. I was just wondering, does this thing ever work?

I mean, since I've had a blog, that is almost a year now, it refuses to publish posts, it tells me there's a comment to be moderated, but doesn't show. Now I logged in this once, and it always popped out that there's a new google blogger which is completely the same apparently, but I took it because I hated the ads that made the page even more lagging.

Now it asks if I want to sign in with my blogger account or my google account. When I try blogger account, the old one, it says I can only use the new account. Then it asks for the new username, and I type it in, and the password, and it gives an error. Then I type the old one again and it logs me into the new.

Although now I tried to log in, and pressing the log in button made it go to the start page, or the index page. I tried it again, and again it reloads the page. I tried once again, and it started repeatedly reloading the page. So I closed it. It does this reloading the page thing quite often.

Then about the posts. I write a post, let's say I wanted an image in my post. see, my sister has a blog, and she has no idea, she just uploads and everything is visible. I upload and nothing happens, it just says the image is uploaded. So I tried editing the text html fromt he edit html. for that it gives a huge error, and no, my tags are right, I've checked with loads of people. And another thing. I try to insert a link. I do the basic html tags for a link, but as for that, it just leaves a blank. And if not that, it just ignores linebreaks sometimes and continues the sentence on on the same line and if I press enter it leaves a whole line clear there between cutting the sentence.

So what the hell is wrong with this shit? Is it really this crap or is it just with mine because I don't hear people complaining. But still, I recommend this shit to no-one!!! and never!

There's a new version of blogger now that doesn't use the whole publish system. Maybe you should try that out?
You. Me. Denny's.

There was a period that both bloggers existed, now google has moved everything to the new. Almost everybody has had problems. It should let yu log in in your old one, but only once. Maybe you logged  in and now it goes immediately to the new one without notice.
Either switch to the new one immediately, or move to some other platform.

The new version is wonderful. Especially seeing as the old version, for some reason, wouldn't allow me to post pictures.

yeah, well good for you because it doesn't work with me, at least most of times.

Hi! I had a 2 month break from my blogging, and my blog still exists at www.renvallt.blogspot.com

However, I can't log in. It asks me for my account and password. I use the ones I've got written down here, and it suggests that I use my google account to log in. Then when I do, it tells me to open an account and gives a silly preview of what I would gain by doing so. I basically do already have 3 accounts (EDIT: actually apparently there are 5 accounts with the same e-mail, that is mine, most of them like "slirethsöoeitnr" and "sotih_srthij" and I'm pretty sure I never opened them), two google ones and one that's just blogger. But for some reason none of them work. I can't get to my account. when I ask what the password was, they send me an e-mail stating I should open one, and when I try to, they just tell me I already have one. And all I really just wanted to do was to write my blog, you know.

So as Blogger has been such a bitch, and I've never got anything really good out of it, and I completely hate the crappy buggy pain in the ass system that it is, I was wondering if anyone knew a way of getting it work or either just another site that would host a blog, because seriously, I just smashed my keyboard on the monitor and I don't want to do it again even though I've been going frenzy for the past few days. All I know is, bloody hell. Why the fuck can't it just work. (sorry for rude words) but I really feel like crying and at the same time breaking every piece of furniture that meets my eye.  :'( >:(

How about people stop bloging.

99% of blogs seem to be useless crap about what some kid did on that day. Most are exagerated if not complete bullshit. Im sick of search engines giving me peoples useless blogs as a result when thats the last thing i want :/

As Maddox once said
Quote....another phrase that can be used for "blog" called: comment-log or CLOG for short. What users do is labor over documenting their inconsequential lives, trivializing man's greatest invention, the microprocessor, until the Internet is so CLOGGED that commerce comes to a screeching halt. Anyone contributing to the congestion would be known as a CLOGGER.

And then there are people who really enjoy the linkdump blogs. Engadget, kotaku, those things. "But we're news sites!" Nah, you're news blogs.

And I dislike those.

Blogging serves a purpose for the people who do it. And the good thing about the internet is that you've got jack shit to say about what others do. And we'll happily keep on blogging.

If you don't like it, ignore it. Every minute you spend being bothered by it is just your loss, nobody else is going to care :)

Ok, got it working, but next time it does this, I'll go to wordpress. And Fee, no it's not a journal, I'm writing a political blog, and yes, apparently people are interested in it, at least the ones in my party/organisation, and my friends.

Having both a website and a blog, I prefer the latter. Updating a site can be a bit of a pain, so I like the ease that comes with maintaining a blog. The site remains more or less a static entity, while the blog can hold all the piddling crap I can't be bothered working into the site.

The site links to the blog, and the blog links to the site. One becomes an extension of the other.

And everybody is happy. Except the people who don't like blogs. Or sites. Whatever.
