Title: Adobe After effects
Post by: Icey on Fri 11/11/2011 20:44:52
Hey everyone, I was wondering if it would be hard to learn how to use adobe after effects cause I want to record cutscenes in my game and and edit them to add particle effects like fire and stuff. I was planning to download it but I don't want to waste space/time for something I wont be able to get used to.

If you are comfortable in Photoshop, After Effects will be pretty easy to get used to. It's not very good for editing, and particle effects are a small part of what it's designed for.

Particle Illusion is a standalone application and an AE plugin which has pretty good out-of-the-box particle effects.

Thanks Ali. I found AE not that hard to understand but it will take some time when making a project.

And I will see about that link in the AM.
