Ha! Teh AGDzine! What a joke. None the less, before Christmas I worked on the zine with great intent of bringing it back. It's all in pieces and is out of date, and some of the ideas are crap and old but none the less, I've uploaded what I have to "poll" whether you think it should continue or discontinue.
I'm happy to put time into it, and if so I'll update what is there already. It's very bitty, quite a lot of things don't work, and "the gui" is a crap idea and needs development ;)
But please, take a look and let me know if you think it's worth bringing it back. If I do, I want the zine to be a developers resource rather than an ezine that covers news etc. If you take a look, you'll find a half written music tutorial by me and an interview with Ron Gilbert. So check it out, let me know if you think it's worth it, AND if you'd be interested in helping write stuff for it etc.

Many thanks to Rodekill for his art help and everyone that helped bring that design to life, especially cutegirlfriend.com. I'm sceptical because of the amount of other ezines out there at the moment.
:)
Please don't end the beutiful dream...
I just got chance to check it out.
All the links are broken, at least on my crappy machine
Keep it alive, anyway, man!
I haven't seen that site before, and just finished reading the interview with Ron Gilbert. Pretty cool. I like it, and I also like your music tutorial alot. Only too bad alot of links are down. I encourage you to continue, because from what I've seen it's very informative, and handy stuff. It helps me to get inspired, and guides me in my development. So it's really cool! 8)
The links to the A are broken, as Sylph changed everything.

That's the new address.
It looks good, m0ds.

Like I said, a lot of it is unfinished (I was fired before I got a chance to finish everything ;) ) So, its kind of a clicking orgy to find pages that work...
But thanks! Even tho it may look good, would it be useful, etc?
Loved the new layout of the site! ;)
QuoteI want the zine to be a developers resource rather than an ezine that covers news etc.
Totally agree here, it would be great (afterall, we do have other e-zines that cover news, etc) ;D
QuoteEven tho it may look good, would it be useful, etc?
As I said... it would be great as a developers resource!
Hope I'll be able to contribute a day (somehow ::) )
Keep up the good work... the AGDzine shall not die!!!!!1
Looks sweet, I wish the site was all up to date....
Hurrah! It's finally up!
And, a little anonymous tip:
QuoteAGDZine has problems. A has problems. So yet again, I ask you, why not join forces and have less problems? It's not like there is competition.
I like it. A lot. I suggest you keep the AGDzine going, as I can see enormous potential.
It's great so far. I say you continue making it.
QuoteWelcome to the AGDzine, the best online magazine for independant point and click adventure developers, players and fans.
*Cough cough* ¬_¬
I agree, Vel, everyone know that title belong to the 'A'.

Who said that there aint no competition?
A category in the AGS awards would be very cool...
AGDzine forever!
Everything else, never!
(Not really never, it just sounded cool)
Keep it up m0ds! I want read all that stuff some day...
Btw, That'd make a song Indy...
I've always liked the AGDzine, and I love the new design! I think it would be very useful, both as a developers resource, and as an ezine that covers news.
