Why? V2.71.894 was the stable release version. I've downloaded this and checked it and it indeed is the version you want.

Are you really sure?

Note that the version of the editor (which was indeed 2.71.631 in this case) does not necessarily match that of the engine, as it's common that there're fixes only in the engine rather than the editor and vice versa. I think there isn't any point in collecting everything apart from official versions (maybe beta packages as well) as there are TONs of them, including those test builds that were released targeting at certain individuals to check whether particular problems were fixed, not to mention some of the non-working (accidentally released) "dangerous" versions.

Ryan Timothy, ok I just need it for some experiment with translation one game, which isn't supported by author. And only THIS version - 2.71.894.

For similar problem I wanted 2.62, and I got good results. But it was another game.

Gilbet V7000a, thanx, seems my 894-project just is corrupted, so maybe 2.71 from 'http://www.agsarchives.com/engine-files/'; works like 894.

p.s. You know Japanese?

These early versions are also available on archive.org: https://archive.org/details/ags-v2_6_2 is the one in this case.
