I think we should all watch out for Remmies. I think he/she is an up and coming star in the adventure game development field.
the way to win an AGS award is to make a game that has AGS forum members as characters in it... Don't bother with putting any great thought into how the game will really work in particular. As long as it has an extended intro with hilarious references to the MITTENS gang, you're on a winner!

There is no exact date (GMT??). It tends to cover a certain period. For two weeks, people nominate theri favourite games. The top five for each category are chosen. Then for the next two weeks, everyone votes for the winner.
