That explains who MrColossal got his custom title (and AGA)..but perhaps he did travel in time.

The 2009 FOREGO Awards Categories:

In case you just joined, The FOREGO Awards are similiar to the AGS Awards, yet instead of voting for AGS Awards, we instead vote for AGS community members in various categories, such as Best Contribution to Gen-Gen and Funniest AGSer.

If you did something and want people to nominate and vote for it, why not post a bit of information and screenshots to remind people about it?

I think MrColossal had that title long before those Foregos (...or long after?).
I don't remember why they stopped, probably some combination of "do we really need this" + "I can't be arsed to do this".

Mostly, of course, I blame SSH

I'd get rid of... all of the Universal ones. Put a "Most Anticipated" in with the GIP award for Darth Mandarb and maybe add a "Best Effort" somewhere to recognise the troopers who post in every competition, critique in every thread, debate in every discussion, etc etc. Oh actually I'd keep the Best Troll/Worst n00b one.

And if so, perhaps it should be for self-nominees only. I'm quite sure that if we had a Silly Game Of The Year award that enough people would join.
