Most games: I will guess SSH, who must be well on his way to 20 by now.
Best game: Nobody knows but it must be by Herculean Effort. It's not easy being the best.
Most AGS Awards: I think it's still Tierra/AGD, for KQ1 and 2 remakes, but it could be Yahtzee. Do we have a proper list of all the years?

Yes, CJ is well known to be an anglo-welshman

Guinness Records are about provable, objective records.

Best game is subjective, and the rest is a matter of counting. Go count!  ;D

There's no proper record book without "the biggest", and the winner is:

La Gran Castanya (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/games.php?action=detail&id=623) by Arnau Bernat, wih 160 MB!

I think it's also the only AGS game in Catalan, so 2 awards for La Gran Castanya.

Si s'ha de fer es fa ben gran. Tu si que saps Arnau!

Everyone knows that Pablo made the best AGS game. The Secret Of Hamster Island (http://www.pabsoft.net/games.php?game=the_secret_of_hamster_island).

Perhaps the biggest free game, but the installer for Blackwell Legacy is around 185 MB, and Al Emmo is the size of a CD-ROM (almost 700 MB). Force Majeure 2: The Zone is also huge I think, considering all the video (demo alone is 148 MB, couldn't find the size of full version).

This thread reminds me of this: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=22263.0

Almost identical! (except for the stupid question about CJ being british ::))

Good memory, Drummer. Also, the "best game" is of course silly - records are about measurable things; quantity, size, time. Which makes only 50% of the questions not silly. Or only slightly silly.

Recently the general quality of most new games were discussed, would we want a race for the "largest number of AGS games" record?

;)

Oh dear! 5 guys.

-The best game (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/games.php?action=detail&id=3)
- My guess is that Yahtzee (whoever he is) has won a majority of awards

And I just made a MAGS game thats 270M if I uncheck the "compress sprite file" checkbox  ;D
Ok, that's cheating but...

Right. The 'game with the best (insert category here)' is only based on personal opinion. It would be cool to do stuff like 'Most games released', or 'Most AGS Awards', or 'Game with the most AGS awards', etc.

I think one should also ask:

What is the first commercial AGS game?
What is the best selling AGS game?

Probably Adventures of Fatman. I don't think anyone would know what the best selling AGS game would be, except the game's seller.

I would suppose that the Shivah or the Blackwell Legacy, probably BL, due to excellent publicity and popularity hold the title for most games sold.

Al Emmo is available on Telltale's website. That may have netted them quite a lot of sales. But as Steel Drummer said, only the sellers would know.
