AirHockey minds something for you?

That is the question: is the air hockey a well known sport (or game, as you prefer)? Have you ever played a game? Maybe a little tournament with your friends? Did you know that there are a lot of well organized group of players around the world?

But yes, I think it is quite known game. Not saying sport, as I feel it more as just a little good time in the lobby of your movie theather when you are waiting for the movie to begin, or just trying out with your friends how many beers can you take before you are not able to hit the puck anymore. I didn't really know there were lot of well organized group of players around the world, but when asked, I probably wouldn't try to deny it. As every game seems to have them

Fun little game.

There's already an excellent computer adaptation called Shufflepuck Café I used to play on my Amiga 500 back in the good old days. There's a free clone available for windows and linux called TuxPuck, but it's only got two opponents and even less of the fun. Feels more like a demo actually. It would be awesome if someone either picked up development of TuxPuck and got it on par with the original (and/or added multiplayer via network) or created a new game of similar quality. And by quality I mean fun gameplay; pretty graphics and sound are nice but come second in a game like this.

Nice game, i never saw it before. Its a good game to have an idea how to design an Airhockey Game. Of course, the game have not many realism, and even is not air hockey Really.

Sure, I've played it. It's not like it's anything special though, just beating about a puck. Good fun, but I'd rather say, pass around a football or something.

We'd have so many of these at home when I was a kid. All of them broke eventually so we always got a new one, it was always as fun

I had one of those when I was a kid.
Damn puck would ALWAYS get stuck somewhere the players couldn't reach.  It was very disappointing.  :'(
