Title: amazing deinstallation routine!

i've just tried to uninstall corel graphics suite..
i had 1.5gigs free before the uninstallation process, cgs is about 300megs..
this is what happened:

.. and then the uninstallation has abortet (said sth. about 'not enogh free disk space for uninstallation process')

weird..

sorry can't help witht he problem. Maybe it is just a glitch? try deleting it maunlly.
can't help myself as an immature pbrit i have to say. arbeitsplatz...hehe ;D

Dont delete it manually. First delete some un-needed files that you dont have to use an uninstaller with. Make sure that there isnt anything taking up memory either. It should work fine.

it worked now.. deleted some temp-files and my desktop inhabitants ;)

For future reference the first thing I always clear out is my internet cache

some people don't realize how big that folder can get

I agree. If you have broadband you should set the cache down to 1 MB NOW! Just click Internet Options and turn it down! Saves lots of space and you won't know the difference!

I don't often use the C:\ drive, but when it gets full, there's an automatic pop-up for a disk clearup. But yeah, that's a way around it too.

well, it was enough free disk space before i started the uninstallation..

i just wonder why the deinstallation consumes about 1 and a half gigabytes... its a deinstalltion. ;)
