discuss
That link is asking me to download a file ... any way you could maybe tell us what it is/about before I just download something?
I think he said it. It's a discus. As in, trap. Gheez, doesn't anyone here watch sports?
And the award for the biggest effort in developing a thread goes to... Well... I don't know.
But I know where it is NOT going to go. ;D
Oooh, SHAG.
Yeah, a little entertaining, could have been a lot better (the last thing this game needs is the default Sierra interface), but what can you do in an hour, eh? Good show.
An error I found if you ever decide to make a Deluxe version:
Spoiler
"You rub your hands up and down your clothes." The horse doesn't have clothes.
I have had an epiphany! :o
What's there to discuss?
It's a GREAT game with tons of professional animations and dialogs. The story is SO complex I could hardly follow. Finally the characters are VERY versatile.
@ Darth:
The file is called "compiled". What could it possibly be? ::)

I think you were a bit harsh, but interesting comment nontheless.

Thanks. Once the deluxe version is made I'll send you 5% of the profits.
This game poses an interesting ethical conundrum. Due to the ever-increasing restrictions imposed on the freedom of movement, we found ourselves thrown into an environment we are unable to fully explore, let alone alter; more and more often, we do not even appear to become aware of this situation. Our dire need to experience at least a brief illusion of escape - or rather, escapism - leaves us to the mercy of the local authorities, which, themselves being trapped in the very same inescapable continuum of laws and regulations, will attempt to taste their small drip of power to the fullest and ask unspeakable, unnatural acts from us simply for their own amusement. Whilst we are able to deny these requests by stark violations of each and every social norm, this unalienably throws us into a downward spiral of addiction and self-defilement, ending in our untimely demise - we might be able to throw off the iron shackle of society, but the choking collar of physical needs remains.
A throughly rousing criticism of the "free" westernized world. I tip my hat before you, sir.

Indeed. For that reason the game will be presented at
Cannes Film Festival in 2009.

Not the
Cuppes Game Festival?
In other news, it wouldn't download for me.
I tried 3 or 4 times, but each time I just got an empty <0kb thing.
It happens sometimes.Genius! Genius, I says!
So is the game called Compiled?
Innovative and refreshing.
Meh. I couldn't beat it, I had to follow a walkthrough.
I'm afraid the background story is not very original, but the plot development was amazing. And, man, what an ending! It certainly made me envision a whole new aspect of the world I could never realize before.
Dude! The walkcycle's simple perfection rivals that of Ben AND Dan!
But:
Spoiler
Why did Mr. Ed jump the gun in the end? That's sheer tragedy!
I see my fellow AGSers are still up to thier old haunts. Hehe, you people maketh me laugh. In a good way. Acid tipped irony just gives me the giggles. ;D Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity! :D
Dan seems to have deceased, so I'll just post that here, seeing as the thread seems to be rather appropiate for things like that.
We had quite an extraordinary SHAG some time ago, and I think I speak for all participants when I say that it was a whole load of fun, and pretty satisfiying, too. Our strange love child can be found over here (http://rapidshare.com/files/137705139/JellyBenDanOneAka.zip.html).
If the innuedo hasn't killed you yet, the hourgame competition revolved around taking the source of a previous hourgame (Jelly by Ben), making a sequel based on it, and then assembling the whole thing into one semi-continuous story. It's... interesting.
We should pack all SHAG entries in one zip or rar and sell it on the internet. We will be rich and have all the chicks we want... or guys :=

A broken link! Travesty! :o
But don't worry, the solution is only a click (http://rapidshare.com/files/141324364/HHorse.zip.html) and about 30 seconds of intense annoyance away. ;)
