avi wmv to ogg anwone?

does anyone know a good and free app to convert avi & wmv to ogg?

I haven't tried, but vlc probaby can handle this well. Its interface is extremely horrible though.

I personally use SUPER video converter. Their download page is..kind of ridiculous..like you have to go through several pages searching for the link to the next page...but once you've got it installed it works great.

Also, I don't know if you're already aware, but some converters might give the OGG Theora video a ".ogg" extension. For use with AGS you'll need to change it (renaming the file is fine, the format is the same) to ".ogv".

i managed to convert avi(s) to ogv(s).... but ags won't play them

EDIT: damn my dumdumness... didn't put them in the main folder.. AGAIN lol

Aye, try Pazera video to convert avi/wmv to WAV and then use Pazera audio to convert it from WAV to OGG. Good luck!
