Any old Background Blitzes @ pub6.ezboard.com archive?

Does someone know if I can find Background Blitzes on this old forum?
The search option didn't gave me any proper result...

As a personal researcher on that forum, I tell you what:
a)Without a proper guide you will lose your way.
b)They are called EZ-Boards.
c)Ask me, or go ahead and trouble yourself.

If you go yourself, I may warn you that the working links are very few, and it be wiser to find topics with a deal of replies to check (more than 7) is fine. Usually topics with more than one page work, but it may also mean that a page might work and some other page might not. The EZ-Boards are mostly salvaged due to random backups and due to some AGS profiles being global to all the EZ-Board forums.

Gilbet Cheung you refer to background blitzes in specific, cause if you are, I stand corrected, but I think the term is rather new, and there were locked parts of the forum where good old blitzes and sacrifices could happen.

EDIT: Here's an old bg blitz on 2003, let's see..

I don't remember them back then. There was MAGS back then for sure. Possibly Sprite Jam?

memory is fuzzy but I'm with Gilbert. There's no EZBoard Background Blitz to be found.

Indeed MAGS exists on the EZ-Boards, I wasn't much into looking competitions, so I'll have a big look now and refresh your memory.

I've found a link on these forums that says on 10 Mar 03, that there have been lots of other blitzes, the forums actually became active near Oct 2002 or so (probably a little sooner August), and the only competition there has been proof of on the EZ-boards is MAGS.

Thanks Dual! Those took me back. Colossal mentions a painting program he coded and I remember the day he coded it! It was awesome and he kept telling me how simple it was to do.

BTW, I made a huge mistake and revisited the 76 page "Secret of Monkey Island" thread. Just now. Phew.

As far as I recall, the first background blitz was created by either OneThinkingGirl or Erica McLane and it was indeed post-EZ time.

Sprite Jam is way older, especially taken into account the live ones on the IRC-channel.

Pre-EZ was just a chain of texts posted by Gilbert and CJ, neither of which are known for their high activity in bg-blitz contests...
