Mouth for war

Just saw the first videos for this game like a week ago but remember reading about capcom creating an open world RPG...Then I completely forgot about it so I was pleasantly surprised when I found gameplayfootage/trailers of it. So...anyone else getting this game? Let's create some kickass pawns!!! :D

Here's a video if anyone's interested!

Hell yeah I'm hyped! I also heard of it in passing ages ago but rediscovered it last week. Played the demo today, and I know, people always compare anything like this with Elder Scrolls as it sets the benchmark, but I think the full version will be better than Skyrim (naturally the demo was quite restricted). I like the fact night is actually dangerous and the visibility is so low you can easily get ambushed. Also, fast-travel is possible but only if you use teleportation stones which are very rare, so even though the size of the world is smaller than Skyrim, you will have to travel everywhere the old way. The animations are incredible - bar sprinting and climbing a ladder. Tactics is also really important in the big battles which is fun. When you fight a griffin you need to sever the wings first because they're pretty useless when grounded.

Yeah that nighttime danger got me more excited as well...it will turn survival horror sort of :-D yeah skyrim comparisons were to be expected i guess...this game sounds much more interesting to me. Skyrim got quite boring and when thinking about it i had more fun with oblivion actually. Well...this weekend will be a isolated onne...me DD and my cellphone turned off  :-D

This actually looks pretty damn neat.  The manual aiming and controls are precisely what mmo's have been missing in my opinion and games like this and TERA are slowly trying to tear people away from mashing quickbar slots to some actual gameplay.

I'd love to see guild wars 2 adopt this style of gameplay but alas, having played the beta I don't see it happening.

Yeah even though the reviews are very different I have no doubts this will be an awesome game...And it seems to be a real challenge too...that's nice to hear. Oblivion/Skyrim gets too damn easy after a while. This will probably be easy too after reaching level 200...but still hehe...Can't wait for tomorrow :D
