Once I killed a man. His name was Mario, I think. His brother Luigi was upset at first, but adamant to continue on the adventure that they started together.

Anyone who bought QfG V has a copy of QfG they don't want. ;)

It wasn't THAT bad, Mr. Ninio. It's just that compared to the other QFG's it wasn't that good, either.

I do agree with Ninio. I never even bothered replaying it as the other classes, it was that tedious to wade through dozens of enemies everywhere, it reminded me more of Doom than of QfG.

I actually thought QFG5 was really fun! Although the story seemed a bit off, and the appearance of many of the characters from old games was considerably contrived, the game itself was a bit of fun!

I hate ebay.  People are always trying to outbid you.  And ebay charges the sellers too much.

That's the nature of auctions. ;) Set your bid to the most you would ever be willing to pay, and eBay increments your bid on your behalf automatically. I know it never works out that way, though. I tend to put a low proxy bid amount, then go back and increase it some more.

I have a copy right next to me. I don't want to sell it. QfG V wasn't bad. It was far better than QfG III was.

yeah, the whole egyptian setting with dinosaurs and indians didn't really do it for me.

Indians?  Jesus Christ, someone send a Travelouge up to Vermont there.   QFGIII rocked, anyway.

Stuh, I have a copy of QFGV I can sell you.  Plus, I live in NY, so you'd get it right quick.  Drop me an email - alexansg@yahoo.com .  We'll work out the details if you're interested.

Quest for glory V now lets see ahh <Cough> Yeah I was wondering what I was hiding in my dust pile...
Ok on a more realistic note, the game had high expectancies and it never reached any of them.
I remember he day I bought my copy, I was like a little boy in a candy shop when my eyes fell upon the
box. I stood there wondering what I was going to tell my mom :) The little sales man in me jump up and sold it!
... To my mother ;) I got into the car and opened the box and to my suprise TWO CDS!!! Wow this was going
to be the best QFG ever! But yes alas its like being in love... the euphoria faded and I was a little dissapointed.
So much so that I never finished the game. Altough the story was ok and the characters looked GOOD! It never really
gripped me as QFG1+2+4 Three really was a lost case.

Believe me the game is for true fans of the genre and I was one so much so that I have completed the game with all
classes in all 1+2+4 not five... and three.

I have the box staring at me but as a collector i will never be able to sell my copy.
Your not missing much.. But for the sake of it I have just decided to finish the one game I never finished... Well in
QFG terms anyway. <Please insert disc 2>
:) I have that little school boy feeling all over again.

stuh505

actually I've already beaten QFGV with at least one character but it was in like 95, so I don't really remember much of it  :P

ARGH ARGH EXPLODE. There is no such thing as abandonware!

stuh505

there is such a thing as abandonware.  but being abandonware doesn't make it legal to redistribute (only ethical).  but you know that freeware does exist and a lot of non-free games which are called abandonware have actually become freeware!
