Not usually a forums troller, so what's with this post?  Seems like content similar to half the spam I get, or random ICQ messaging.

Hey have you heard about this thing called the lottery?  You buy a ticket and den you pick out numbers,  if yo numbers get choosed you win.  Its dat awesome.

I don't live in australia but I think the AGSers who do won't have a difficult time discovering this promotion thanks to Coke's MASSIVE marketing budget.  Sodas are bad for your teeth - if you drink any, DRINK LOCAL!

And for me that means Dr. Pepper.

critisice much? ::)
i was just making a statement about something i found on the web that i enjoyed. Y'know, like 5000 other AGSers have done before me?

It isn't that, it's the fact that what you posted was generally common knowledge. Coke and Pepsi have been doing the on-line code thing for a while. You apparently didn't realise that it was common knowledge, so it's probably not mature for people to be making fun of you for it, but take it as light criticism. Evenwolf was just using sarcasm to make the same point...pretty much everyone knows about the lottery, and pretty much everyone knows about coke and pepsi's bottle top schemes.

I'm glad you enjoyed what you found...while I have never endevoured to use the codes (because I usually lose the bottle top or don't even look at it ), I'm sure there are benefits aplenty.

Nope, not mature at all.  A gentle ribbing was more in order than a fairly harsh criticism.  However, I still think the topic's akin to notifying people that Cracker Jacks have a prize in the box - sometimes it's even really neat!  I'm glad you're excited, Flukeblake, just don't take my assholishness too seriously.

Ban me.

Kids should learn that corporations and their promotions are nothing to get excited about.  I only WISH that someone did the same for me when I was in my teens.  I wouldn't have become obese on fast food and soft drinks. get over it.
