OK, that was a loaded question, but let me explain... Recently I sold some items on Ebay and I was paid for them. However, my Paypal account does not have a bank account attached. I tried to attach 2 different ones I have and it wont let me. It gives me some service code error. I called Paypal and after pushing several digits to finally speak to someone on the phone, I spoke to someone and they tried manually entering my info. Of course, they tell me that my account numbers are wrong and it has to do nothing with them. Pure lies as I am well aware of what my account numbers are. I have a CC with Paypal, but they cant transfer to a debit credit card or any credit card in general. Even I have applied for a paypal debit card and am waiting for that to come in, but it will take more than a week. I can ask them to send me a check which will take 5 business days, plus I need to wait for the bank to clear and deposit it.

So, with that explanation, is there a way I can send Paypal cash to my bank account? I kind of needed to access that cash within the next couple of days. At first I thought I could western union myself the cash and pay with Paypal, but they do not use paypal as a source of payment. So are there any services where I can transfer money to a bank account and use Paypal to pay for that transfer, this way I could basically transfer the money to myself?

Sorry, Paypal Customer service was of no use and I figure I would ask the fine AGS community for their thoughts or idea's or if they know of a good service that does this. Thanks!

attaching a bank account to it is probably the easiest thing to do. If this doesn't work your are basically screwed (unless someone comes up with another great idea). Maybe you can open another bank account just for paypal. Some banks want you to use their services, so maybe you find a bank that has a zero fees attached account offer. And then send the money from that account to your main account or just use it to pay whatever you want to pay.

Well I am starting to think that Paypal just doesn't like my bank because I tried two accounts from them and it wont work. I would open up another "hassle free" Checking account somewhere else, but truthfully, its not really hassle free and if I am going to sign up for a new checking account, try to confirm my bank account with paypal and then transfer my money from Paypal to my bank account, I may as well then just request the check as it would all take a few days less then. But thats the thing, I am trying to get a hold of that cash within the next couple of days and I figured that there would be a service that would help. I know there are e-currency exchange services, but they seem shady and they do not seem to transfer from paypal to US bank accounts. Also, they charge a ridiculous fee($40 to $80).

Have you tried making a paypal payment to a friend?

Yes, that could work, but you'd have to trust them and you'd have to take in all surcharges, so I'm not sure it's worth it... Plus it will take the two days to get funds into my account (for example) and then another couple of days to get it to YOUR account...

Plus I don't feel right doing it, since I don't know you really that well! :P

I am referring if YOU have a GOOD FRIEND or RELATIVE that you could may a payment to and then collect the money from them when its all clear. Its just a way of getting your cash. Not the way things should work but at least you'll get some money. Paypal, owned by ebay, leave a lot to be desired.

I was a paypal member for 9 years.

I could do that. The trouble is... Finding a friend that uses Paypal. Believe it or not, in this technologically advanced world, not many of my friends are keeping up. lol. Oh well. If anyone thinks of a service that does this, let me know. Thanks.

I'm not entirely sure this will work but I'd suggest to start a brand new basic PayPal account on a different email address if possible. You'll have some sending/receiving limits but then you can paypal from your old account to your new one. You can then link your new account to bank account with any luck. As I said no idea if this is possible but Remi did something similar recently.

but first check if you can attach your bank account to the new paypal account or you pay the fees twice.
