Search around online at places like ebay where people sell their personal copies, or do a little googling for "buy Monkey Island" or something similar.

EDIT: I just ran a search for "Secret of Monkey Island" on Ebay and I've come up with several results that include the original box and everything that came with it at pretty low prices. (the floppy discs are even cheaper.)

On another note: I own both the original Secret of Monkey Island disc (and manual) though I've no clue where the case went and the Monkey Island Madness disc which contains Monkey Island 1 and 2 and a Monkey Island 3 demo which came in a multigame pack with lots of other lucasarts games.

Its too bad that you weren't looking for The Curse of Monkey Island because I have that (2 cds) never opened still in shrink wrap.

Hmm, I used to have the CD version on White Label (an old Budget range in the UK). Memories. Memories. I still have the CD version of DOTT and both Indiana Jones games. I treasure them dearly >_<.

I filled in the gaps of my adventure game collection a couple of years ago using ebay including the cd version of Monkey Island 1&2, I can't remember what I paid for it but I don't think I paid over AU$50 for any game including overseas postage.

just a quick look on ebay and you can get it for less than US$50 even with 'buy it now'

I would just like to say that I found a copy of SMI at a local thrift store, now I can play the monkey island theme on my CD player, woo hoo!
