Okay, there's been threads like this before, now it's my turn to step forward and ask.
There's this song that plays at work alll the time (I work at Chilis, by the way), and there's always this one song playing that is oddly catchy. Now, it's rather hard to make out words properly due to everyone talking, but I'm trying to find this song.
Some clues:
-It sounds sort of like Queen, or some 60's/70's pop band.
-The one part I can sort of make out is this "Ah, ah, ah (doo-doo) Missing in my home...(doo doo doo)..I hope you know/*something something su-uhm-thing* (doo doo doo)
-Has several high pitched male voices just jumping in and doing backups (the good kind of high pitched, as in Queen, not the bad kind found in modern music)
-I asked one time, and was told it was Modest Mouse, yet NONE of their songs sound like this.
-It starts out with piano, and has bass guitar in it.
Can someone please, please help me? It's so addictive, but I want to hear it in its entirety.
Can't say I have a clue to be honest with you, mate.
Although... Modest Mouse are often compared to Flaming Lips... Could it be them, maybe?
Well simply Googling "'Missing in my home' lyrics" only returned one result that wasn't related to some bloggers saying "...has now gone missing in my home". The result was this (http://dcarangelo.firelightpro.com/butterflies.html), but I don't think that it's probably related.
Searching for "I hope you know" is absolutely absurd and I refuse to do it. :=
Sorry I can't be of more help (especially considering you probably already tried this), but if you manage to extract some other snippet of the lyrics, Google has aided me in discovering song titles this way several times.
you can't really say Modest Mouse songs sound alike in any way.
but it doesn't sound like any song they've ever done (i own all 5 albums)

I did. And I found that. (http://www.amazon.com/Shaved-Dangerous-Baby-Animals/dp/B0000040PG/ref=m_art_pr_2)

Lights Out At Eleven, maybe ? The sample is very short, but the "doo doo doo" and the high pitched voices are there.
I can't help you either, I'm afraid. But I know some people who might: When I need this kind of information, I usually post my question at the reference desk of the German Wikipedia. They usually sort this out within hours. Now I don't know too much about the English Wikipedia, but they even have an Entertainment section on their reference desk with a number of questions like yours, so I think you could give it a try: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Entertainment
I assume you heard it on the radio? Just a regular station? Is it a bit of a laidback song? Then, judging from your description, it sounds a lot like Mika - Happy Ending.

Starts with piano - check
Sounds like Queen - with his song 'Grace Kelly' he was touted as the new Freddy Mercury, so check I guess
High-pitched male harmonies in the chorus - check
Hope that's it. :)
Sorry Largo, that's not it.
Addictively good, though.
It's not anything by Muse is it?
They are occasionally compared to Queen, especially since their latest album 'Blackholes and Revelations'. I don't really agree, but there is one song 'Soldiers Poem' which definately sounds Queenesque...
It's a bummer that you haven't found the song yet...but not much to go on really. If it was so catchy, I'm surprised you don't remember more words than that? Maybe you can hum it out and record the melody somehow?
