Well, the company who made Laura Bow made their last adventure game somewhere around 1995, so it's pretty safe to say that they won't be doing it.

Fangames? Ah, I don't think the series was ever that popular, and as such I don't recall any serious attempts at fangames for it. So as far as I know, no. Feel free to start one yourself, of course.

I know at least one person who is planning to make an homage game/ fangame of the series, so you're definitely not alone if you are thinking of doing one.

'Laura Bow 3: The Manhattan Murders' & 'Laura Bow: The Colonel's Bequest Resurrection' have both been canceled.

So, until there's a new one you might want to (re)play Gamecourier' Laura Bow in: The Road to Murder (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/games.php?action=detail&id=590), a 2005 AGS game. Also downloadable from the AGS Archives (http://www.agsarchives.com/gamecard/489/laura-bow-in-the-road-to-murder.html).

Are you keeping track of who's doing remakes or fangames of Sierra classics? If so, do you please have a list somewhere?

Yes I do. Though I have to update it a bit first before sending you that list. Will send it soon.

I'm a huge fan of Laura Bow!

What I love is that I played all the way through Colonel's Bequest the first time, not realizing that there were layers of things going on that I was missing. By the time I got to the end, I knew I had to play it again. I found so many more clues and watched more suspicious behavior. But it wasn't until my fourth or fifth time through that I actually solved it all: bodies, culprit, and secret treasure.

However, Amon Ra was ridiculous. The amount of conversation that you have to slog through to get the information in your little black book... And then, at the end, the evidence never really does stack up. The story doesn't hold against the clues you've picked up.

If I have a recommendation for any new Laura Bow game, it would be to (1) make a credible series of murders and really plan out a logical solution, (2) THEN plan the red herrings.
