If so then I am sorry!!
Tis the biggest steaming mound of dragon dump I think I have seen for a long time.
Most of it is filmed in near darkness and the parts I could make out were shite.
All they needed to do was throw in a lunar eclipse and you could watch a black screen (It might have been a good film then!) ;D
The acting sucked and I just wanted the PREDATOR (Yeah right!) to kill everyone as I had no emotional feelings for any of the human characters.
Oh and in the 10% of the film that was daylight they might aswell put in a solar eclipse. That way you might think it a duff DVD and get a refund!!
AVP I thought was a good film but PLEASE avoid this (AVP2) like the plague.

The first one was decent. The second was horrible. Nice special effects, but awful film.
The pregnant mom at the hospital was probably the worst thing.
Then again, the ending was extremely underwhelming, and very clich`e.
It wasn't even a fun bad movie, it was that bad.
OTOH, I watched "Zombie Strippers!" the other day, and loved it. Pure crap, but fun.
I was not able to see what was going on in the fights between alien and Predator (Predator in CAPITALS, please, best moster ever...), but that is becoming common, happened to me also with Spider-man vs. Venom in SM3.
Annoying.
Transformers too.
Seems like attention to detail has been left in the mud for "if we make it go fast, they won't notice it looks crap"
Well great. Not only does it look crap, its also blurry and makes my eyes hurt.
I loved this film. It was fucking
hilarious! I saw it with my friends a while ago, and we were laughing the whole way through. The bilesome dialogue, the gratuitous, unnecessarily gruesome violence, the excruciating cliches (like how

the asshole who bullies the main character dies the most painfully, or how the government nukes them all in the end

Sorry. I actually meant by writing Preadator in capitals that he is my favorite monster and the most important.

I don't even know which one was worse, the first or the second. Those two movies have done nothing good to either of the original movie series. Loved the AVP2 game though.
Both could have been saved with some gratuitous nudity. But then most films can...

Of course the majority of the 1000 or so answers said "Stop making shit like AVP2!"..

I'm all for the shit-films Hollywood keeps on producing ... the [mostly] mindless masses eat them up anyway. I figure the money they make off mindless garbage movies lends them the lee-way to make "riskier" movies that are, in most cases, much better.
I'll take these worthless films; Dude Where's My Car, Soul Plane, anything by Michael Bay, in trade for some of the smaller, less-known, gems that I really enjoy.
Its relatively fun...there is some humour that I think is needed to hold it together, and quite a bit of gore, and uncenessary gore too which is very aliens/predatory. But it just aint Aliens, and it just aint Predator. Its like they've taken a formula for a teen slasher and made the killers preds and aliens, which is shitty. Neither of the AVP films have excited me, and I still say it now, the day and AVP film is directed by McTiernan or has original cast from one of the two movies, is the day it will be a damn good sequel. I know a few friends who did like it a lot, and a few that thought it was pure tack. I wish the AVP films were good...I was so excited about it at first, being a big fan of Predator especially, the first crossover in Predator II with the Alien skeleton was fantastic, really made the hairs on my back stand on end......but the AVP films have pretty much destroyed the beauty of that merger in my eyes. A bit like Die Hard 4 completely ruining the franchise previous. But of course, these are just my thoughts as a me audience, no-one else :) Well, I know Yahtzee has similar views...
