Title: Bargain of a Lifetime
Post by: Tuomas on Thu 13/04/2006 15:03:00
You know what, I was looking for a job today, didn't find any, and the recruitment offices were closed because it's easter, but I found something wonderful:

Dixieland Jazz; This Was the Jazz Age - 10 Cd set, featuring Louis Armstrong, Johnny Dodds, Kid Ory, Sidney Bechet, Clarence Williams, andone you can think of... or at least I can. Anyway, all this was just 9,95 euros = $12 = £6,89!!!! :o :o

So I basically got 10 Cds of best jazz one could ask only 1e each!

Didn't get a job though, so now I'm broke for the month, but so what, I can spend it listening to awesome music! Be happy with me!

I reckon that the easter bunny put the cds in my chocolate egg that I couldn't afford to buy and then missed it and ended up buying the cds without knowing that there was the egg though the egg was there and that's why it was so cheap. Does it make sense? yes it makes sense, to me it does, doesn't it make sense to you too? It makes sense.

It sure does make sense. Kinda like people don't put mustard on apple pie. See applepie is nice, and so is mustard. But they taste awful together. So what I'm trying to say is that Jazz doesn't tast good with chocolate... wait. Now I'm confused

I don't think it had anything to do with easter. It's just that old music tends to get compiled onto cheap discs that cost very little to buy.

I agree, the jazz I like wouldn't go well with chocolate( at least the jazz I listen to)I like a jazz (not saying this is the best just a personal preference) that drops hesitantly like last raindrops with some smoky sexy woman's voice on vocals. though I am a confirmed chocoholic, it wouldn't go well with THAT jazz.

Jazz might not be good, but at least the CD's are nice. *crunch*

Anywho, nice bargain Tuomas.

On another note, what food or drink or snacks in general goes with different genres of music?

With Jazz, I propose Bourbon and Olive sandwiches.

Well I like to listen to Hot Chocolate and drink hot chocolate while I'm at it. And you know what they say about Smashing Pumpkins...
