Baseball rocks!!!!!!!!!

Ok everybody:
I couldnt find a single thread about baseball so here it comes.
People how do you like it, did you played yet??
Well for me  I played baseball a lot a time before and I really like it (unlike football)

I've never played. BUT, I've played the Finnish version of this sport. Anyone know what the dirrerence is? Anyway, it's great fun.

Is softball the same? We played it excessively in school. I remember rounders in primary school though, it was fun.

Personally I find baseball a little dull, though I imagine it could be quite dramatic and eventful if you got the right conditions.

Unfortunatly, baseball is the worst game on Wii Sports! I hope its not as boring in real life..

We get high and play rounders which is a lot like baseball. That's a lot of fun.

Although Baseball is my nation's favorite past-time, I find it boring.

Softball is basically the same as Baseball, but the ball is bigger and the pitch is underhand, rather than over. Softball is typically played by girls, but I know a few girls that play and their "wind mill" pitches could crack skulls.

Oddly enough, the girls in my school are the only ones who play rounders all the time. Which I always thought was a fairly unisex sport.

ill just stick with my cricket. And when you say football do you mean that american sport played with their hands and pads, or do you mean the game that the rest of the world calls football?

Not a fan of baseball. I find the game extremely boring and long.  Ice Hockey is my sport of choice. (viewing, not playing...i can't skate.)

I never particularly liked football either. That's the real one, or soccer to Americans. I just find the "beautiful game" to be quite dull.

You know, when George Best died, we renamed Belfast City airport after him. It's a sad day when you realise the best thing your city has produced in the past 60 years is a footballer who beat his wife and wasted a liver transplant.



On a side note, I didn't particularly enjoy American football until I watched Eyeshield 21. Then I saw the charm. Well okay, maybe I just like Eyeshield 21.

This thread title makes it seem people are using rocks to play baseball with... ouch, that would hurt.

Well I remember when I was something like 10 and got hit in the face with a baseball. And it did hurt like a rock.

Yeah, we used to play with rocks and stones. But when you're a kid, it really doesn't hurt that much. But try with a superball, you know them bouncy things, they fly hundreds and hundreds of metres if you hit well and keep bouncing ever farther.

I personally don't give a shit, but it might be a good idea to try and think a bit before posting, like for example that your opinion is not the only around.

Yeah, Wtcq, calling football "shit" isn't very polite towards those millions of people, some very young and poor, who happen to take delight in said sport.
I think you should apologise for insulting such a vast demographic group in such a rash and thoughtless manner.
