Best film/tv programme for a game using Ags

Bored at home... So I have been trhowing aroung ideas about making a game from a film
But don'r know which 1... If u where me what would you do?

base it on a film I love.

While I'd love to make a star trek game (any series but the first and last), my artistic abilities are not enough.

Or maybe a back to the future game. So cool.

Until it gets closed down by the copyright owners..

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory would make a great adventure game. Plus it would be fun to create the colorful backgrounds and characters.

Then you could explore the whole factory on your own and see what Mr. Wonka was up to, or maybe drink a little of that Fizzy Lifting Drink stuff.

Maybe, i should do this instead.

Ditch the paycheck idea, but use the same system in an original game. So that the protagonist has just gotten amnesia and to his surprise finds himself in the middle of some conspiracy or something. The objects you start off with are clues and at the same time relate to puzzles along your journey. You could actually go with something in-between Paycheck and Memento, but at least it would be somewhat original.

Porn: A Family Business

Seriously, I metioned this to M0Ds years ago at the first Mittens or Brittens, but I've never got around to doing anything about it. It could consist of a series of mini-adventures like Monkey Island's trials where you play Cousin Stevie, and you have to:

Get the correct artwork to the printers
Organise Seymour's next video

I'm sure you get the picture

I've always thought that "The Matrix" would make a good RPG. Choose and perform anti-grav stunts and such during battle sequences against agents and robots and so on. Just a thought.

It's funny that Saw and Paycheck have both been mentioned.

Because when watching both these movies I thought of how easy they could be made into adventure games.

"Room with a view" if that is the correct title in english. Rendered immobilised, the full game is basically dialogue, telephone tricks and note writing. Spy on a neighbor and put people in inane and life threatening situations All what modern life is about. Oh, and paparazzistyle snapshots.

Could easily be translated into a pr0ntwist if M0ds got hands of the idea..

I think you're thinking of Rear Window. Room with a View would make a less interesting game, imo.

I'd like to see a Firefly/Serenity game. Not sure if/how it'd work as an adventure game. Possibly something like Galaxy of Fantabulous Wonderment, only less blech. (There's a possibility for an 'over-hyped/over-rated creators' comparission between Joss Whedon and Yahtzee, but since I quite like Whedon, I won't make it.)
