That's sad! :(  Celebrities have not had a good week.

I love how the 'popular searches' bar goes "Billy Mays, Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Venus Willams..."

If I was Ms Williams, I'd be shitting myself right now...

Stupot: LOL

But seriously, this is hitting me harder than MJ's death. Probably because my cousin and I were going to do an epic sketch that would've been a tribute to Billy Mays (and all other famous TV commercial characters/spokespeople).

Lol, Stu!

But yeah, I loved this guy. He was taking over the world with all his commercials, then he got his own TV show... now this. It doesn't make any sence. The guy was great.

I...couldn't stand seeing the guy on tv, honestly.  His voice seemed to only have one setting:  ULTIMATE EAR-DESTRUCTION MODE.  I was just hoping that someone would tell him to get a hearing aid or something so he'd lower his voice to something reasonable, or maybe just start shouting as well to see if he 'got it'.

Only a few weeks ago, someone introduced this bill, regulating the volume of TV commercials.

I heard a rumor that some county passed a similar law, regulating the volume at which a TV advertiser could speak, as a tribute to Mays, but I couldn't find any information on it.

TerranRich

No idea, but the law you linked to regards the actual broadcast of any commercials generally being louder than the TV programs... which is damned annoying.

But that's neither here nor there.

R.I.P. :'(

I liked him also. It is too bad they didn't diagnose his heart disease earlier.

Rest In Peace Billy.  :'(
