Hi guys,

Just wanted to post a link to my content-filled blog: http://geoffkhan.blogspot.com/

You can learn many new things here, like wacky slap-bass riffs and such. It's brand-new, so there's not a LOT of stuff on it. Yet.

Thanks, and please post comments!

If you're a bass player, this webpage could be extremely helpful.

I'm appealing to a large audience, no? :)

Hey, hey! Double and triple bass slaps are great but if you want a real challange incorporate some finger plucking inbetween the second and third strum of your thumb (One word about being a poet and you all lose your eyes).

The idea can be done with any chord, really, so pick your favorite.. After slapping your thumb on the first down stroke pluck with, seems like you have a four string, so pluck with either your index or middle finger on the string below. Then after the upstroke of your thumb pluck with the next finger on the next string and on and on..

Hella annoying to get it smooth but if you pull it off you are Les Claypool the 4th..

Or as an easier warm up.. try just slapping with your thumb and then plucking the strings down or up.. Plucking up feels more natural because of the slap but plucking down  has a smoother sound.. depending on your chord of choice. If you feel brave work up a scale using this method but I don't know your skillz

Hey man, post some comments! Looks like you're a very accomplished bass player, and I could use the advice on my blog thingy.
