Just bought these two books (the second one is almost delivered, yeeh!):

I was wondering if there is a good book about 'the history of Adventure Games'.
Does anyone know (a recommendable) good book about (the history of) adventure games only?
It was just released today :D (http://blog.hardcoregaming101.net/2011/05/now-available-to-order-hardcoregaming.html)
(also, Grundy and I are back to back in that second book - REPRESENT! :=)
Thanx Ben.
Looks good (although it's a bit expensive), I think I'm gonna order that one.
Hope a review will be written to see/check if it is as good as they say.

Check it out! (http://blogoscoped.com/graphic-adventures/)
I learned of both of these via Gnome's Lair's book posts (http://www.gnomeslair.com/search/label/Books) - he's a swell guy, loves adventures and old games and AGS games, so it's a great place to spend some of your net reading time :D
And thanx again Ben.
I could have know of that last one, saw it in a post on AGS a while ago.
Just bought both of them.
Love these books :)
Hmm... I was going to buy '250 Indie Games You Must Play' from Amazon but they don't accept Paypal (unless you get a Paypal debit card apparently), so I'm looking for another source for that one.
Didn't know about those adventure books. They both look neat.
Tx Ben ! Downloading right now and wasting another cool spring day inside the house reading stuff!!!
