Anyone remember the mid-70's? Me either, because that's when I was born. :) Yes, it's my b-day and you can only imagine how old I am... (I'm as old as Microsoft!) :o
You're sooo old, almost 10 years older than me.
Happy Birthday! :=
Ah, 1975. A good year for men indeed. My fiance was born in that year.
Congrats ^_^
I don't remember the mid 70's, only the late 70's and that's all a bit of a blur, and not due to the drugs or anything (that's called the 90's)
happy 30th, I'm 3 months behind, '76 was the best year of the 70's
All the best people wee born in either 1975, 2002 or 2004
Thanks for the b-day wishes. Yes I'm 30 and yet I feel the same. Maybe when I hit 40, I'll feel different?

Yes. If you name your cat and/or earlobe ball "fiance."
And I thought I was the oldest person on this board??? Guess not! ;D
So, you 70's kids, what do you remember the best when growing up in the late 70's, early 80's?
In the early 80's, I remember on the 4th of July, I was at the lake with my family when I saw these huge characters of Pacman & Ghosts running around shaking kids hands and hugging people. I was really young at the time and didn't quite understand what was going on. This was obviously when Pacman was first introduced to the public.
My dad bought a Tandy 1000 computer for the whole family with 128KB of memory, (upgradable to 640KB!) in 1983.
In 1987 my parents bought us a NES for Christmas! (Ah, the memories.)
Miez and Rick are the AGS grande dames I believe
I'm always pleased to hear that there are people here who are older than me. Right now, having been born in 1980 makes me seem so vigorous and youthful.
Lucky for you, I'm very experienced with taking care of the elderly, so tell me if you want me to push your wheelchair around the park some day, or yell at kids down at the library.

640k were going to be enough for everybody

What's that? You have to speak up a little, you young whippersnapper! My hearing is going...
Ah you kids, with your mobile telephones and your breezers ... when I was young we had to send emails by telegraph. And point and click adventures meant wandering into the meadow and poking a stick at the cows ... grumble ... cough ... ;)
Anyway: happy BDay, RHarpe!
